Back to About Us > Ministry Announces 3MTT–NJFP Placement Initiative to Connect Skilled Digital Talent with Employers Nationwide
The Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation & Digital Economy (FMCIDE) has launched the 3MTT–NJFP Placement Initiative, a strategic collaboration designed to link thousands of skilled Nigerian youth to job opportunities across the country at no cost to employers.
The initiative, supported by the European Union (EU), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP), provides businesses with access to vetted, pre-screened digital talent trained under the 3 Million Technical Talent (3MTT) programme. Participating organisations will benefit from top-tier fellows across key digital roles, including software development, product design, data analysis, and digital marketing — without incurring recruitment or onboarding costs.
“This partnership is a key step in connecting Nigeria’s growing digital talent base with meaningful employment,” said Dr. ‘Bosun Tijani, Honourable Minister of Communications, Innovation & Digital Economy. “Through the 3MTT–NJFP Placement Initiative, we are bridging the gap between skilled Nigerians and the organisations that need their expertise to grow and compete globally.”
The initiative provides a seamless onboarding process for employers:
Participants will also gain access to additional benefits, including a Federal Government partnership badge, which enhances organisational credibility and strengthens future grant and partnership applications.
Who Can Apply:
With leading employers like Microsoft, Airtel, and others already engaging with fellows, the 3MTT–NJFP Placement Initiative is set to accelerate Nigeria’s transition into a competitive digital economy while empowering its youth through sustainable job creation.
“We’re proud to work alongside our international partners and forward-thinking employers to create a pathway for talent to thrive,” added Francis Sani, Programme Director, 3MTT Nigeria. “This is about building the future of work — together.”
Organisations interested in participating can sign up today through the official 3MTT–NJFP Placement portal or email placements@3mtt.gov.ng for more information.
