INTRO
This past week marked another milestone in Nigeria’s growing influence in global digital policy and innovation. From Dr. Tijani’s election as Vice Chair of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Council 2025 in Geneva to his keynote address delivered at the United Nations Open Source Week in New York, the Honourable Minister continued to strengthen Nigeria’s leadership role in the advancement of inclusive, people-centered technology.
These engagements provided an opportunity to shape conversations around resilient digital infrastructure, digital public goods, and trust-enabling technologies. As always, Nigeria’s participation was rooted in the achievement of strategic priorities, and this 90th edition of Week in Review captures key highlights from a week of global collaboration and diplomacy.
